Outreach Programmes

Aim and Objective:

Our hospital has adopted 30 villages in four clusters of warangal district. The purpose and objective is to screen the people of all the above villages and to identify the people for

  • School children for Refractive Errors
  • Refractive error examination for adults
  • Cataract
  • Glaucoma
  • Diabetic Retinopathy
  • Retina screening with tele ophthalmology
  • Refractive errors patients are prescribed glasses and supplied rates in
  • these camps
  • All Diabetic patients are screened by taking fundus photo and sent to base hospital for retina consultant advise.
    Patients who need treatment are shifted to the base hospital for retinal lasers (Teleophthalmology)

Vision Centre

Apart from the above four clusters we have extended our services and coverage to the 14 more villages (2 clusters) in Mulkanoor area of Karimnagar district by opening a vision centre, which caters the needs of 50,000 population with regard to eye diseases.
We are able to reach and provide all the above services with participation and partnership of the following NGO’s and organizations.

  • District Blindness Control Society (DBCS)
  • Rotary Club of Hanamkonda
  • Inner wheel Club of Warangal

Eye Bank

Our hospital enjoys the facility of collection of cornea from the deceased and sent to Ramayamma International Eye Bank at Hyderabad for processing and storage.
Process tissue is procured from eye bank and cornea transplantations are done for the needy corneal blind.

Green Hospital

Since ours is an NABH hospital, we take utmost care, safety of our patients and staff. As a part of clean and green of the hospital, we have been using the solar system for the past two years which is taking care of part of our energy needs, thereby we are able to save the power. ”Power saving is power produced.”

Bio-Medical waste Management

As per the medical norms, the biomedical waste is separated into three categories and three separate covers are provided with different colours blue, yellow and red for easy identification. To carry out the waste material the hospital is tied up with the Government authorized organization Kakatiya Mediclean Services.

Oxygen giving plants

The entire hospital is filled with plants which gives oxygen as part of providing fresh oxygen for patients & staff.


The washrooms are kept neat and clean always by house keeping department to take care of the cleanliness and maintain the standards of NABH.

Hospitality – Staff

Our hospital management has been providing nutritious food such as sprouts, boiled egg and seasonal fruits to all the staff, apart from the safe drinking water and tea / coffee resulting the increase in efficiency and there by increase in productivity.

Hospitality – Patients:

We take utmost care about the patients visiting the hospital for regular checkup and for the purpose of eye surgeries/treatment. As part of the hospitality we provide healthy drink to the surgery patients and tea/coffee along with mineral water for all other patients and visitors.
